Hello!

I am a picture editor specialising in illustrated art and reference books with a background in publishing. I have worked for leading international publishers producing books for both the UK and North American market as well as continental Europe.

I am used to working with both the art department and the editorial team, as well as communicating with authors direct. I am  involved with projects from the earliest stages, exploring bespoke content, and suggesting artists and photographers that would benefit the visual content of the books. 

During my career I have established sound relationships with a wide spectrum of UK and internationally based artists, agencies and PR consultants. As a result, my portfolio of contacts is both varied and extensive, with contacts in art and design, fashion and photography. I have an advanced understanding of copyright issues, Photoshop and good negotiation skills.
